Welcome to the Lake of the Ozarks Scout Reservation, the premier Scout camp in the midwest. Located on the Osage Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks near Laurie, Missouri, the 450-acre facility features 1.5 miles of pristine shoreline, just one hour south of Jefferson City.

Camp Hohn, the 60+ year-old facility, is home to thirteen year-round campsites and the world-class Sinquefield Invention Campus. Whether your Scouts are swimming at the waterfront, forging at the blacksmith shop, climbing our COPE course, or earning merit badges, LOTOSR offers an unforgettable Scouting experience.

With 80+ merit badges and activities each summer — including 19 STEM programs at the four-building Sinquefield Invention Campus — LOTOSR is one of the most comprehensive camp programs in the country. The reservation also hosts off-season workshops in spring and fall, and has earned five consecutive BSA Camp Excellence awards for program quality.

About Summer Camp

Camp Hohn offers 120 unique merit badges and activities across five weekly sessions each summer. From aquatics and shooting sports to STEM programs at the Sinquefield Invention Campus, there’s something for every Scout.

Patrol-Method Cooking

LOTOSR operates as a patrol-method cooking camp and does not have a dining hall. Food service delivers meal ingredients to each campsite and patrols cook their own meals. This is a core part of the Scouting experience and helps Scouts develop outdoor cooking skills.

Check-in & Check-out

Sessions run Sunday at 1:00 PM through Saturday at 12:00 PM.

Fees & Extras

There are no additional merit badge or activity fees with very few exceptions (Personal Watercraft, Motorboating, Horsemanship, and a few non-MB programs). Two-week discounts are available — contact the Camp Director for details.
